iMovie VS Windows Movie Maker !

iMovie is much better to use than to use windows movie maker. In the program iMovie, you can video yourself. Windows movie maker cannot video yourself. Also in iMovie, you can edit the videos. You can do this on windows movie maker too but iMovie gives you much better quality and lots of effects. You can cut parts of what you filmed if you make a mistake. In the other hand, Windows movie maker cannot edit the videos while getting some other parts too. In my Opinion, I find iMovie more kid friendly and much more easier to use and get familiar with. I had a windows xp laptop once and whenever i try to open windows movie maker it was so hard to get the hang of it and I had 3 Windows xp laptop before i had my Macintosh laptop. When i got my laptop, I thought everything was going to be hard. It was the complete opposite. On the first day, i tried every single application on my Macbook and when i opened iMovie, I thought it was going to be really hard to make movies but it was really was easy to use ! :)

Anti - Bullying Investigation

Bullying can make you feel depressed, hurt, and alone. It can keep you from enjoying the activities and places that are part of your life. Bullying happens everywhere. It happens all the time, and it's happened since forever. Because it's so common, many adults think bullying is just a normal part of growing up. There are three kinds bullying. Physical bullying, Verbal bullying and Relationship bullying. Physical bulling means like Hitting, kicking, or pushing someone or even threatening to do it or Stealing, hiding or ruining someone's things or Making someone do things he or she don't want to do. Verbal bullying means to name call, teasing and / or insulting. Relationship bullying means to Refusing to talk to someone and Spreading lies or rumors about someone and / or Making someone do things he or she doesn't want to do. What do all these things have in common? They're examples of ways one person can make another person feel hurt, afraid, or uncomfortable. When these are done to someone more than once, and usually over and over again for a long period of time, that's bullying. The reason why one kid would want to bully another kid is this: when you make someone feel bad, you gain power over him or her. Power makes people feel like they're better than another person, and then that makes them feel really good about themselves. Power also makes you stand out from the crowd. It's a way to get attention from other kids, and even from adults.School bullying is a serious problem worldwide. It's not a new problem either; parents and grandparents can recall bullying incidents from their school years. Yet, bullying continues to be a problem.Often bullies torment a victim over a long period of time, increasing the victim's sense of fear and distress.A new term, cyber-bullying, refers to a new trend in school bullying. School bullies say hurtful things and post photos on Websites, e-mails, cell phone text messages and photos to torment their classmates.Sadly, some students are so traumatized by being bullied that they become very depressed. Miserable and unable to communicate their dilemma to anyone, they feel their situation is hopeless and sometimes commit suicide. Sending mean text, e-mail, or instant messages , Posting nasty pictures or messages about others in blogs or on Web sites Or Using someone else's user name to spread rumors or lies about someone Are ways you can cyber-bully.

These Are The Way You Cyber Bully. Whatever I Talked About In This Post .. DO THE OPPOSITE ! And The World Will Be A Happier, much BETER , World ! :)

Evaluation

For Investigationn, I Found It Really Easy To Find Information About Hurricanes. All The Websitees Have alot of information and all the information i took, and i put in my own words, it sounds like an all ready formed website that i created. The information that i took is really kid friendly too.

For Design, I Designed my website really colorful and more interseting to look at. I Made it with all different fonts and colors and to make children / kids to look and dicover more than they need to know about the website of hurricanes and if they want to make a website based on iWeb they can use my Website to give them ideas.

For Plan, i planned out my website really carefully. First of all it took me one whole lesson to make the plan / drawing for the hurricane website. I Found it really difficult at first but then i got used to it. My plan turned out completly different from my real acttual website. I Find That my website is so much better than my acctual plan.

For Create, At First I Didnt know anything about iWeb. It was so hard to make one whole page. it took me 3 lessons just to finish one page. that means 1 week, 1 page.

For Evaluate, I Did my iWeb In The Last Minute. People keep deleting my iWeb and it really makes me mad. I do all the hard work and then they delete it. Somone deleted my iWeb so many times. When I Think It cant Get Any better than this, they delete it. But i am really happy that this someone deleted it because now , my iweb website about hurricanes is the best and so colorful.

And lastly. For Attitudes to technology, I Thought it was really hard at first to use iWeb but then i got used to it and now it is really simple to use if you know what to use it with. I Learned all this from using iWeb and it really helped me and now i am starting my own website of my own because when i first got my mac i didnt know what it is and now i know because of how i learned in it.
